We love staying in little roadside motels in our travels. Only reason for the 4 instead of 5 was that I reserved a mountain view room. On arrival we were told there was nothing available and it would be an hour wait. We wound up taking a room in the front. The room was quaint but clean. The air conditioner worked VERY well. Beds were comfortable, linens spotless. Happy with my stay..

For an older hotel, it is clean and well cared for. It feels like a real step back in time; nothing fabricated or ornate, just simple and uncluttered. I had been concerned it might be less than desirable because of the low price, but was pleasantly surprised by its quaint charm. The owners are friendly and take pride in their little hotel, as they should. The beds are comfortable, with only two pillows per bed instead of four.

Wonderful, clean, very friendly and incredibly well priced. Towels are not the best, but the room was neat and tidy. The jealousie window door glass reminded me of Americana Motor Inns from my younger days. This place is a Bargain, comfortable beds and pillows. The manager was an Exceptionally nice and helpful lady. Thank you for being kind and helpful.

I'm not one to write reviews however for this place I feel the need to. My friend stayed there long term when she told me she has been there a week without fresh towels or sheets we went downstairs to the office to ask for new. The man said that we could bring down everything that we wanted fresh of and so, sketchy enough, we gathered everything up and when we came downstairs with it all a lady came out and said that they will clean tomorrow and looked angry and was speaking to us like we were children then took our sheets and blankets and started shaking them out and saying "these aren't even dirty"her tone was rude and unprofessional . The hotels are outdated and dirty.

We spent a night here last fall, and were pleasantly surprised. The motel is from the '50s, and has an unusual layout with two stories in back. Parking to register is a bit awkward due to road widening that also doomed the very nice neon sign this place used to have.|||| We got a room on the ground floor around back, where it was very quiet. Our room was a little on the small side, but the rate was only around $45. The windows and door were both equipped with crank operated jalousies, but it was too chilly to open them. The bathroom was small but clean, and had the original tile and fixtures. There was a fridge and microwave, and the bed was comfortable. It is a little further out of town than some other choices, but much closer in than most of the chains, and much cheaper as well.
