Rodanthe Watersports and Campground

The site was awesome right on the water( sound side)! Danny the girl at the outdoor check in was awesome so sweet and helpful! Everyone laid back and very nice fellow campers! The camp ground is small but very nice. Has indoor and outdoor showers. The bathhouse was small but nice Had everything we needed! Thanks Rodanthe Watersports and Campground!

BEST CAMPRGOUND! We had an absolutely phenomenal stay!! Beautiful views of the sound, beautiful sunsets, the bathhouse and outdoor showers were very clean and cute! Campground is right next to a pizza shop, the ocean and beach access is a quick walk down the road, as well as stores for anything you would need. Staff was super friendly and welcoming. 10/10

Can’t get closer to the water than the waterfront RV sites here. Plus you can rent surfboards, paddle boards, bicycles, etc. Restrooms are clean (but no AC) and outdoor showers are also available. The two hammocks hanging over the water are heavenly! The beach is a bit of a hike but worth it. This is a very laid-back, no frills place, just the way we like it! Plenty of restaurant choices nearby.

My husband and I just returned from our third stay at Rodanthe Watersports and Campground and like our previous stays, we had a wonderful time. This location is perfect for people who both surf and windsurf (or kite or wing), because not only is it a beatiful place to sail and stay, it's also an easy walk to the ocean with a surfboard under your arm. It's also a wonderful place if you fish or just love the beach and the Outer Banks. Mike, as always, was an excellent host. He's super friendly and also helpful with local tips and information, and has great stories about OBX, which we've loved for over 40 years. Oh, and the bathrooms and showers are incredibly clean and there is even an excellent and clean dishwashing station. We plan to return again and again.

Excellent spot …off the beaten path unique wooded sites with great sound front views of the sunset , especially from hammocks set out just above the water …well kept tent and RV sites with bikes / surfing / paddling equipment for rent
