Robinhood Resort

The hotel is nothing like the photos. It's old and dirty. The sheets are ancient from so much washing, and the walls desperately need a fresh coat of paint and a good cleaning. It's not a cheap hotel either. I don't recommend it at all! We won't be back.

My trip turned from a solo trip to one with my mother for a mini overnight stay. The resort like feel to such a small quaint cabin made this possibly a new favorite destination. Location was prime From a disabled persons perspective everything was in close proximity to all we were visiting without needing to go far. For this trip I did not travel with a wheelchair simply my cane. I loved although it was on an active street and busy road I had great sleep and could easily go from point A to point B. My room was lovely however the property has only 2ADA rooms and they were taken. At the time we did not know there are no elevators when requesting a quiet room not on ground level. This resulted walking several stairs up. Not ideal for people with limited mobility. The room itself was large

Our new "go to" hotel in Big Bear. My wife and son stayed here last week, and this hotel was exceptional in every way: pet friendly, reasonable price, friendly and welcoming staff, and perfect location. A major storm hit Big Bear while they were there, and I could not pick them up since Hwy. 18 was closed. The hotel responded by permitting them to stay six hours beyond normal checkout time--and charged nothing for the extended stay. The location could not be better: right in the heart of Big Bear with dozens of eating and entertainment options steps away. We could not have been more pleased and will be returning often.

great location and cosy rooms. right on the main street in the village. rooms were warm and cosy with comfortable beds. when we arrived the heating was on which was wonderful after a day of skiing. highly recommended for anyone looking for great value. also next door to the lake,

Our "cozy" room was very out dated. There were only 2 wall plugs accessible to use , no USB ports. The table lamps were old and tippy. Bed was comfortable. Shower was dark, no lighting in the shower. There is a tiny bathroom . There was a microwave and refrigerator. This room was adequate for a one night stay. We ate dinner at the restaurant next door, Nottinghams. The food and service were excellent. All in all it is a charming location , the desk clerk very friendly and I would stay again, but hopefully find an upgraded room.
