BEWARE! BED BUGS! This hostel is extremely unsanitary, doesn't offer towels and is very stingy with toilet paper. The second night at the hostel I woke up with burning and itching on legs arms ankles and back. When I woke up I found tons of marks on my body. When reporting to management , who also refused to give me her name, she tried to convince me it was mosquitom bites and was extremely rude. When I asked to speak with the owner a woman named Rita cane on the phone to also deny any possibility of me getting bitten by bedbugs at her hostile. When I told the staff that other guests commented that there had been complaints of bed bugs recently the manager again tried to convince me that the last incident was 5 years ago. Do your research on this place the bed bug reviews are plentiful -

This is not a hostel. It's money grab. Minimum service, maximum greed. Check in at 7 pm and check out at 11 am? No replies to email, call gets dropped, When I arrived at property at 6:30 pm, noone was front desk. One foreign guest was waiting. Property was not secure. Sincerely, spend $10 extra somewhere else and get a sense of community, meeting people who travel, programming, etc. This is not a hostel.

I stayed here recently and was very pleased with the overall experience. Aniesha made sure I was checked in promptly and ensured I had a comfortable stay. She was very accommodating and polite, and even offered some recommendations for nearby restaurants and activities.

But this location was just perfect it's right by the water in downtown where all of my events and things are. I am a single woman traveling and it felt very safe and comfortable it doesn't have a bunch of bells and whistles but it's quiet and as I've gotten older it's so nice to have peace. The staff was so kind and friendly. And I can even look out my window and see the water and the beautiful ships that are there. Truly a great stay thank you.
