Great spot! The rooms were clean and housekeeping came by every day we were fully equipped with everything we need in the room including water. The amenities were lovely and the spa was amazing! I recommend staying in the yucca suite super nice! I almost didn’t book this place because of some of the negative comments but that was not our experience at all! Highly recommend!
We attended the California Association of Colleges of Nurses Conference The Riviera Resort & Spa event Conference center The event staff at The Riviera Resort & Spa did an incredible job anticipating the conference goals and catering needs. The presentations were top-tier, and the food was exceptional—the desserts served each Day were truly divine. Every day was carefully orchestrated, with tables and materials perfectly placed and beautifully presented. The staff excelled at anticipating every attendee's needs, providing seamless service with a genuine smile. We attend many conferences, and this was by far one of the best in terms of food quality and staff hospitality. A special thank you to the morning team for the wonderful breakfast and lunch service!" AVOID! This hotel needs major renovations mainly in rooms. The patio door didn’t shut completely, there was no fan in the bathroom, and the shower only went lukewarm. The hallways are dingy and smell awful. The bars and restaurants were closed most of the time, out of lots of things when they were open. The worst thing by far was the hot tub! In the oasis pool, the hot tub was extremely hot and bubbling profusely, meaning it needed cleaning and was clogged with oils/dead skin. There were also no towels at any of the pools even though you weren’t allowed to use the ones from your room. Overall, this hotel has lots of potential but needs better management.
I really enjoyed my stay at the Riviera Resort and Spa in Palm Springs. I stayed in a deluxe room, and everything was very clean and well kept. I loved the 1950s style of the resort. The room was quiet, and the bed was comfortable, which made it easy to relax and get good rest. The amenities were nice and added to the overall experience, but the highlight was definitely the staff. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, helpful, and welcoming. It made the stay feel easy and comfortable from start to finish. I’d happily stay here again.
We enjoyed our stay, employees were friendly, pool/hot tub area were always nice and clean, and our room was cleaned thoroughly. I would mention that the resort isn't close to any grocery stores etc. We stayed 5 days so we used the 7 eleven across the street to save some money on drinks and snacks. Also we had no cold water in our room. Showers were extremely hot. Probably just a temporary issue that should be resolved I assume.
