Riverside Tower Hotel

I took my young daughter to NYC for a week. I searched for a clean and comfortable room within our budget and this hotel had great reviews. It did not disappoint! The staff here are so lovely and helpful. Our room was not large, but it was spotless and we really only needed a place to sleep and shower since we were out all day. Three minute walk to the subway and the local neighborhood has tons of amenities—restaurants, cafes, grocery store. Easy walk to Central Park. Our room faced 80th St and it was really quiet at night. We also felt safe in and around the hotel as someone is on duty 24/7. We will definitely return to this hotel.

Riverside Tower Hotel has one of the most underrated locations in Manhattan — steps from the Hudson River, Riverside Park, and surrounded by classic Upper West Side energy. Safe, clean, and surprisingly peaceful for NYC. The staff is genuinely kind and helpful (which matters a lot in this city). The rooms are simple but comfortable — and if you get a river view, the sunsets hit different. Perfect for entrepreneurs, travelers, and dreamers who want to wake up inspired in New York City without burning their entire budget. Would 100% stay again.

Positive: Location is very good with lots of restaurants and the bars around. Negative: The size of a room is tiny, and it's quite noisy since is by the side of the road. The bad clothes is uncomfortable. I only had three hours sleep in the night. I cannot sleep for most of the time.

A solid 4-star stay overall. Both the service and the location were strong points during my visit, making the experience very smooth and convenient. The rooms were standard and provided a comfortable enough base for my time in the city. I would consider staying here again.

The criminally low rating of this hotel is due to the very old (~10 yrs) comments/ratings. I stayed here for two days and the hotel has been renovated. The room was extremely clean and comfortable. It is in a very good, safe neighborhood. It is an absolute steal for the price. I will say that the room was tiny, which I didn’t mind at all, because it’s NYC and I only went to the hotel to sleep at night. Attached a picture of the room view. I loved my stay
