Riverside Motel & Marina

Just stayed with friends from 7/26-7/27/25 in rooms 7 and 9. They had the walkout patio. Great experience. Rooms are clean, simple but updated, and the beds were firm but comfortable. The location and ambiance is the seller obviously. Very peaceful, well-priced for the area in summer, and relaxing. The staff I interacted with were friendly and professional. Most importantly, at least for this weekend when it was blazing hot, the air conditioning was fully operational. Bring a cooler or keep stuff in the mini-fridge (think college dorm or like you'd keep in a cubicle or small office space), enjoy the channel out the back door and destress. You won't regret it. All 4 of us really enjoyed it and had no complaints. It's on the list for if we want a quick getaway again!

A very cute motel. Our room was freshly remodeled. Locations was amazing. It was a short walk to the beach, it’s on the river boardwalk which was beautiful and you can walk to downtown. And dog friendly!

Retro looking motel on the Manistee river. Simple but clean. Comfortable beds, larger refrigerator than most hotels, plenty of storage space in dresser and under the beds. Glider chairs and picnic table facing the river for nice view of the sunset. We checked in late, but were contacted by the motel and made arrangements for the room to be open and waiting for us. Close to downtown and Lake Michigan. Will recommend to friends.

Wife and I played golf at Manistee national 2 days and wanted a third day so I decided on Riverside by way of TripAdvisor. $94 out the door on Thursday 7/18/24 for 2 double beds room 1 by the pool.|Loved the retro green colors, wished I had swam in the NINE foot deep pool. |Yes there are some improvements needed but it was fine for one night. |Negatives - hard beds, wife likes I don’t.|Needs a dark curtain ,parking lot lights bright.|But the girls in the office were super friendly, wife liked the way we were treated after telling them her large husband broke the toilet seat, haha!

Nice little motel along the river walk and within walking distance to the whole town. Most backdoor lead you too look at the river inlet
