Little River RV Park

It was mediocre. No staffing or management for RV park, you fen for yourself. Weak instructions and reservation procedure. No security. People were full time camping for free in the casino parking lot. 30/50 amp electric only at sites. Pictures are from space 75 that backs up to forest. Spaces not spacious. Picnic tables, but no fire pits (we have our own so no biggy) . Short drive to beach and lighthouse. Laundry is small, only two small washers & dryers and you better have your own change. Walking distance to casino. Pizza at casino was so so.

Camped 100 yrds from the stage. Saw some great bands, camp ground was clean, quiet and convenient. I wish we had known about the firepit they have there, but it was an amazing time. I would definately stay again.

Things to know before you go: upgrade if you can. The side we were on, the spaces were very tight and no place to park our vehicle. No instructions or rules were given to us at check-in. I found some print outs of rules the day after sitting on the counter. There is no change machine for the laundry. It says on website that they have complimentary coffee but there was never any coffee made when we went (10am both times). Hardly anyone at the desk when we went by even though there is suppose to be someone from 9am-8pm. That all said, the bathrooms were nice and clean. It's a short walk to the pools. My kids loved the pools. Nice area and we loved Manistee. It's just a short drive to the beach and lighthouse.

This place is awesome!! Everyone is friendly n helpful+ it's clean+;we had trouble with our cable and first , but was shown what to do! Hubby not happy without cable when not hitting the slot's

We really use to enjoy staying in the RV park. They have placed a outside venue next to it. You can't go to sleep early or watch TV if you're tired. Noisy. Bad mistake Little River, it should have been away from the rv area.
