River's Edge Campground

I took my 11 year old granddaughter here for a day swim. What a terrific fun place! All the inflatables were clean and really fun. The water was clean and the perfect temp for a hot August day. A few kids, definitely not overcrowded. The food on the beach is pricey but awesome!

This was our second time this year at this campground as we were hoping the first time was terrible because it was the beginning of the season…nope. |Pros: Bills Lemonade! Delicious! Staff on patio at Bullheads Restaurant were very friendly! ||Cons: We were disappointed as we were at the pond on Friday and all of the sudden a high school football team pulls up in a bus and starts unloading. There had to be 40+ of them and they just completely took over the pond. Small children were pushed off the inflatables and it was quite chaotic. Nothing against the teens as they were just having fun BUT I don’t think day passes should be available Fri-Sun as it just ruins it for the campers. Voiced concern to staff but they just looked at me and did nothing. I did not see an adult staff member

I agree w many of the reviews. There are pros and cons: Pros: our site was long and level and good spacing between sites, also trees between sites, lots of kid activities and lots of weekend activities (if you don't mind lots of people), fire pit and picnic tables at each site. Cons: As stated before, the bathrooms were like city park bathrooms- cinderblock and filthy. There for 3 days and never cleaned even though there had been a big Halloween event that weekend. Because it was such a busy weekend, it should have been cleaned more often. Looking at the amount of hair and cobwebs, it hadn't been cleaned long before the event. Very $$ for what you get in terms of having to pay for showers and wi fi! Also the hookups do not include sewer. The dump station was handy, but for $70 a night

Very nice sites and very the property was kept up really well. The pool and water attractions were a big hit with our children. It is little on the expensive side but overall we had a very nice time

We rented a cabin for the weekend, 2 adults and 4 kids. Had an absolute blast! Fire pit was in a great spot, picnic table was super convenient, we had plenty of space for our own camping chairs and the the kid's scooters. We had a cabin with a little roof and porch light, table and chairs outside were nice! The couch inside was comfy, bathroom was nice and clean. Full size fridge and freezer was awesome! Loved the toaster! They supply a broom and dust pan (you will want to sweep several times, the sand is endless!). Can't tell you how awesome it was having the pond right outside our front door!
