River Rose on the Blanco River - Blanco

An absolute gem! Our family of five (littles age 1, 3, and 4) had SO much fun at the River Rose! So many thoughtful touches make this an unforgettable stay. The river was low during our time, but even so the kids had a blast splashing in the water and playing in the yard. We appreciated that the water was accessible, but not so close to the house to make it overly challenging to keep an eye on the toddlers. Great options for sleeping arrangements, fantastic toys and games and outdoor fun available, and the house itself is just beautiful! We would absolutely recommend this stay!

River Rose on the Blanco River was by far the best place we have stayed as a family! It is beautiful, spacious and has all the kitchen items, bedding and outdoor toys to stay busy and enjoy your stay! We love this place , it’s well laid out, very roomy and extremely relaxing while also a blast to stay. The large windows allow ample views of the beautiful property and it was perfect for the young children we had with us. It’s just perfect! I forgot to add the little touches the owners included like snacks, coffee bar and the wonderful lemon pound cake all decorated for July 4th!!! WOW JUST WOW! By far the best experience. We checked in on a Sunday and checked out on Friday. Our stay was not long enough. Every detail was thought out! From a bath plug to give our 2 yr old a bath to sunscreen and river toys! I packed an entire bag of toys for our son and never touched them. There was always plenty to do. It’s 5 min. from the quaint downtown yet the property felt secluded and private. I appreciate a place that feels like home. They didn’t cheapen out on anything! The furniture both indoors and outdoors, the towels, the river toys, everything was high quality! The best part, if we had to choose was the private river access. Wow!! This vacation rental is absolutely amazing! I've been here multiple times and it never fails to impress. This is hands down the most well equipped vacation rental I have ever been to! The Blanco River House is the perfect combination of comfort, convenience, and natural beauty. It's like a little oasis just outside of town. Families, couples, friends, anyone looking for a peaceful escape will love it here. The river access is fantastic, you can do all sorts of water activities like fishing, kayaking, swimming or simply unwinding by the water's edge. The expansive backyard is a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts, offering ample space for picnics, barbecues, or leisurely games. We love it here! When we arrived there was fresh pastry’s and goodies waiting for us from the local bakery which was such a nice treat. Plus the outdoor area is just dreamy. We could have spent our entire weekend just lazing around outside. The wrap around patio is amazing with so many spots to sit. The kitchen was well stocked which is nice because we were able to run to the market and cook while we were there! Highly recommend staying here. It’s the perfect getaway.
