River Road Motel

Super super happy with this motel! Check in was easy and modern. The passcode to my room was sent over text (since I missed the call!) incredibly friendly all the way through, thank you Deana! It was really welcoming and comforting. I felt really safe here as a first-time-solo female traveler. The room was very clean and inviting. The tub was spotless and the sink had plenty of soaps supplied. You can tell the layout was updated with love, which made it feel like home. I had chosen based on location to the train station, and it was so worth it. My friend and I have already made plans to both stay here next year for our travels rather than the other lodging we tried. Grateful for the experience, and thanks to all the staff who keep it all so pleasant!

TERRIBLE!!! It really deserves zero stars!! The one bed in the room had no comforter and the other bed had no top sheet! I went back to the office to ask for a comforter and the lady said we're washing it and also said we had no towels either to which i replied that's ok we just need a hand towel. Then when we returned like 6+ hours later, there still was no comforter and no towel so I went to the office again and buzzed the buzzer about 4 times with no answer, I then looked in the big picture window and they're all sitting in there so I knocked on the window, the lady did come out then to tell me I'm rude and that she was closed, I said you own a hotel, you're never closed!!! We ended up getting a "fuzzy" blanket for the bed and a roll of toilet paper for a total because they had no towel

Location great. Its an older motel so I can't understand why people complain about the rooms. Went there for a few days with my wife and daughter who is 3. Staff is amazing. Very polite and extremely helpful. Very kind. For an older motel and as someone who travels the world, I'm amazed its pretty well kept. The only thing I would say needs work is the locks. Locks fine but door would be able to be opened while locked pretty easy. Just tighten a little. But I had no worries at all. Also the fridge was a little iffy. But worked fine. Only other thing I would change is put blackout curtains on all windows. Light pretty bright in the morning. But not complaining. ||Room. Room for an older motel was fine. No complaints. First time my wife and daughter have been to the Dells. I felt safe. Clean

Went there last Wednesday night because wanted to hear a band. Room was very clean. Nice mattress I slept real good. Nice warm water. Very quiet, Sarah is a good host. Be back for wazahwee | Thanks Sarah

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!! My family has been going to the dells since I was little every year for vacation. We have never had issues like we did staying here!! We booked a room a MONTH ahead of our vacation, we get there a little after 2pm on Saturday and talked to some guy who looked like he just rolled out of bed, told us our rooms weren’t ready but we can leave cars and come back in a few hours to check in. He was telling us how beautiful our eyes were and was just giving very creepy vibes, it was just my mom and I in there….very uncomfortable. We then come back hours later and some lady comes down looking like she’s on something!! She couldn’t even keep her eyes open when talking to us!!! We said we were here to check in and she cuts us off instantly saying they are fully booked, we expl
