Cliffside Resort & Suites

We made a last minute reservation here to avoid some bad road conditions during a road trip. This was a mistake. It happened to be New Year’s Eve, and we just wanted to relax and get a good night sleep before getting on the road. Their website made it look like it would be a nice and relaxing place. It was not. The walls are paper thin with a large gap under the door to the hallway. You can hear every single thing in the hallway perfectly clear. Children were running up and down the hallways yelling and banging on doors from 4pm until 1am. We also got a whirlpool room and there was hardly any hot water. The people running the place were nice enough though they did not seem to care about the raucous and unattended children running around into the early morning. I understand it was a holiday

My husband and I have stayed here several times - the week after Labor Day. There are many things to love about this place. The location is excellent, beautiful and peaceful - for the most part. The outdoor pool stays open past Labor Day - which is hard to find in the Dells. They have a game room with pool table, air hockey and a few arcades. The view from the Lakeside room balcony is amazing - but be sure to book on a higher floor so your view isn't obstructed by the trees.||The rooms are clean - but could use updating. There is only one wall light fixture about 4 feet high between the beds. No other lamps in the entire room. I had to buy a table lamp so I could work at the table in the evenings. The bathroom is quite small - with no hooks, grab-bars or anti-slip mat or grip in the botto

I just got here, but I have to tell you it is amazing. This hotel is right on the water and worth every dime. I love being in a place like this on off-season. It’s insanely quiet and steal the hiking around the area is excellent. If you want a great place to stay, it is old school clean and just perfect.

Great location in the Dells! It offers a beautiful view of the lake and away from all the busy traffic. Very charming little place with lots of character you don't see in chain hotels. We really enjoyed our time and will be back!

What a great experience! When you drive in, you’re greeted by a cute, picturesque exterior. The intricate details in the wood throughout the building were beautiful. We had the 2-Queens and a 2 queens with bunk room. The beds were super comfortable, room was clean. The view from our balcony was very pretty! You can watch the waterskiing routines from your balcony. Our kids enjoyed playing in the pools and game room. This location is located minutes away from everything you want to see/do. We’ll be coming back again.
