River City Campground

We stayed overnight on Oct. 4th. We were going to stay two nights but facilities were just not adequate. The "shower house" is a one room toilet / shower facility. Not very clean with personal items in it. Views were really nice and our site was level but that's about it. Would not go back.

We stayed overnight on Oct. 4th. We travel in a class c. The camp had full hook-ups and a nice view from two sides. The entrance to the camp is weird and takes you though some kind of industrial business. It only had a one room toilet / shower in a small metal building that was somewhat dirty. It had personal items belonging to someone at the camp. Facilities were inadequate so we did not stay the planned two nights. Would not go back.

This is a great place. We stayed one night while traveling. The views were beautiful! Peaceful. The cows were lots of fun. A few even came in to visit! And that little shower house??! Excellent. Great hot shower, clean and just right. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Brandon responded quickly when we arrived after hours. There's a grocery store just up the street, also. Very convenient.

We had read that this campground (CG) could be confusing to find, but following our GPS and the confirmation email instructions, we had no major issues. Coming off I-90, we turned right at a Food Mart and followed the road and “River City” sign through a small industrial area that borders the CG. Per the email, we drove straight in and went to our assigned pull-through site 90 with full hookups. The gravel site was level, with utilities placed toward the rear and the sewer hookup at the very end. We needed 20’ of sewer hose. Water pressure was decent (~45 psi) and the 50-amp electric worked well. After setting up, we picked up an envelope from the info board that his additional CG info by the one-room shower house and paid the required $50 cash for our overnight stay. The email mentioned w

We could tell this is a new campground. We noticed people had not picked up after their dogs & some trash around the playground area. Great view!!! Could hear cows mooing in the morning. 😊
