Cozy, clean, and perfect for a winter stay We stayed at the AmericInn in Chamberlain and had a great experience. The building has a warm, rustic lodge feel — the lobby especially. With the fireplace going, Christmas decorations, and all the lodge-style touches, it felt more like a winter cabin getaway than just another roadside hotel. Our room was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed after a long day of traveling and activities. The beds were comfortable, the space was tidy, and everything felt well cared for. Check-in was quick and the staff was friendly. One funny learning moment: the microwave-popcorn they sell at the front desk doesn’t fit well in the room microwave — so it won’t pop fully. The "lodge" theme is warm, inviting, and impeccably clean, creating a wonderful first impression that continues throughout the property. The Check-in Experience (5/5): * Check-in was fast and efficient. * The gentleman at the front desk was very pleasant and extremely helpful. A fantastic start to our stay! Room Comfort and Cleanliness (5/5): * Our room was spotlessly clean and had a pleasant, fresh smell. * The bed was made impeccably. * The bed itself was very comfortable, and I slept exceptionally well. * The heating/air conditioning unit was excellent, allowing us to easily set the room to the exact temperature we are used to.

Room very clean and comfortable. We looked forward to enjoying the lounge after a long drive however it was not open. Very few guests here probably due to the harsh weather.

Positive: Location Negative: Absolutely hated the fact there was no elevator! Also, our room was billed as the Honeymoon room. Way overstated and overpriced!

This was a great option for us. We drove up for a weekend hunt. Room was clean and the staff was great. Had to get linens for the couch bed and Carter was great to get those for us. Food was fresh and good. Great location and it was quiet. Would for sure stay here again.
