Retreat on the lake

I’ll admit I was a bit skeptical at first since it was a motel, but this stay completely exceeded my expectations! The check-in process was unique — no front desk, just a digital code sent right after booking. It was surprisingly convenient and easy to use. When I opened the door, I was honestly impressed. The room felt more like a cozy cabin than a typical motel room. It was small, but absolutely perfect — very clean, thoughtfully designed, and comfortable. The queen bed was great, and the room had everything I needed: a fridge, microwave, and a nice bathroom. It’s clear the owners put a lot of care into making the space inviting and comfortable. This was a great experience from start to finish, and I’ll definitely be staying here again in the future.

We enjoyed this beautifully remodeled location. It was super clean and quiet. It was remodeled in a cabin atmosphere with all new wood. Beds were clean and comfy. |Drawbacks include small bathroom. It was small for 4 ladies to get ready, with only one little mirror in bathroom.

We had an awesome family stay at Retreat on the Lake! The cabin was super clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. Great location — close to Lake Chatuge, restaurants, and shops, but still really quiet and peaceful. The beds were comfy, check-in was easy, and the mountain views were beautiful.

It was a last minute retreat for the holiday weekend a a family birthday. A little out of the way from the boat dock where our boat was. But really the ride wasn't that big if a deal. The rooms were very cozy with a cabin feel and very spacious. There was no services really. But we really was okay with it. Cause we use the room for a shower and a good night sleep. The bathroom was stunning with a huge shower and beds were very soft and comfy. Well pleased with our stay here. And loved it because it was pet friendly and was able to have my little granddog with us.
