Hickorynut Cove Campgrounds

My wife and I first visited HNC approximately 15 years ago, when they still had rental cabins, to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We immediately fell in love with it, and the Elam family. Godly, hard working, fun loving, very religious close family. Background checks and constant surveillance by this family ensure a totally safe place for all. We have since deeded out first cabin to our daughter, and built a much larger, more of everything, one ten years ago. Our family and grandkids love it. Residents go and come as they wish, no checkin in or out. It has become a true second home for myself and my wife.

Very peaceful and great neighbors. I love sitting out by the pond and that it backs up to the national forest. Secluded and quiet but only 10 minutes from Hiawassee.

I have had my RV at Hickory Nut Cove for 8 years. I love it up in the mountains. I always felt my camper & myself safe. |Ray & Greg Elam are always pleasant to deal with. The annual rent is very fair & reasonable.

We drove through but this is not for mobile RVs even though sign states RV resort. It looks like mobile homes that have structures built around them. We were looking for a place for our RV for a home base until we buy land. Very run down looking place. Very misleading.

Very well kept up......clean......peaceful. Little bit of paradise. Love it on the mountain, the trees, the people.
