Residence Inn by Marriott Wilkes-Barre Arena

A huge thanks to the overnight-shift lady who helped us on the night of Feb 6–7. She was AMAZING. We arrived around midnight after our original hotel couldn’t check us in due to a system issue, and we were exhausted from a long drive. I had called the hotel to see if my family would be able to check-in so late. She was so kind, patient, and understanding. Because of her, my family didn’t have to wait hours and we were able to rest comfortably. She truly went above and beyond and made a stressful situation so much easier. The hotel itself was great, and the complimentary breakfast had plenty of options. The morning breakfast staff were incredibly welcoming and kind as well!

Nice hotel. Appears to be recently renovated. Modern rooms. Lobby and hallways have fresh carpet. We used the fitness room and it has all the equipment you would need. Complimentary breakfast is better than most in this category of hotels. My only quibble is that the water pressure could be better in the shower. All in all I highly recommend this hotel.

The Residence Inn never seem to disappoint. Large spacious rooms with a kitchen are always a welcome sight. Slept well and enjoyed the stay. Breakfast didn’t disappoint either. Well prepared and lots of choices. Would definitely recommend!

Excellent Marriott hotel. All the staff members we interacted with were very nice. The young lady managing the night desk, so nice. The rooms and hotel were clean and the location for our travel was perfect. Right off the Interstate. A lot of food options. But recommend Texas Rd House!!!

We have stayed here a few times and always have had a great experience. Rooms are always clean, the pool is always a hit for my family. Super nice and attentive front desk staff, and the breakfast crew are so friendly and nice too! Definitely recommend!!
