Customer Reviews
Positive: The staff were friendly and efficient and the room was spacious and clean. We had three in our group and our room was a "queen suite" where there were two queen sized beds in the bedroom and a very nice sleeper couch in the living room. Negative: ""
The hotel is located close to everything in White Plains. Includes breakfast, which has a good variety of items to choose from. The rooms are spacious, and you will definitely be comfortable working off the desk area, or kitchenette. This is my second time staying here, and I had an issue with the room being extremely cold one of the nights- the way they had the A/C set up didn’t allow for me to raise to 70 degrees or higher (not heater). The maintenance rep, Miguel, was very accommodating and offered options to manage the 1st night.
We come to White Plains often but never stayed at the Residence Inn before. We were quite satisfied and would stay here again on future visits. The check-in and check-out were smooth and pleasant. Meg was wonderful for both. Parking is available, though there is a $20 charge to park in the attached garage (per day). To me, that is always a rip-off but it seems hotels are charging for these sorts of things all the time now. ||The room was clean, well equipped, and huge. We were assigned a corner room, so it was especially large, but I understand that all the rooms are pretty spacious. ||Breakfast was pretty basic, but just fine for a mid-range suites hotel. I did not expect more.||The only drawback was not the fault of the hotel - someone near our room was smoking pot, and the smel
Outstanding hospitality. The front desk staff, led by Erica, were responsive to all our requests and made us feel at home. Spacious rooms, generous breakfast and prime location near the train station make this an excellent hotel choice in White Plains and surrounding areas.
I was very disappointed with the service at the front desk during my stay. She was consistently rude and unprofessional, which made the check-in process stressful and unpleasant. As a guest, I did not feel respected or welcomed. I expected a much higher standard of service from a Marriott property and hope management addresses this issue with proper training to ensure future guests have a more professional and courteous experience.
