Residence Inn by Marriott West Orange

One of the best experiences I've had in a hotel. Mr. David treated us so nicely, he helped us a lot. He was very kind. Not to mention the food people, they were very friendly, the place was super quiet, the hotel super clean. The delicious food. This hotel is excellent for spending time with family and as a couple. If I go back to New Jersey, I'll go back with them. Thank you very much ☺️

I am a Gold Member with Marriott and this experience was one of the worst experience I encountered. I was traveling for business and informed the front agent I was here on business. I also asked when breakfast is served and when she responded 6:30am I said I will be gone by 5:30am. My issue with my stay the agent put me in a room where I was sharing an a joining room and in the middle of a wedding party who had no respect for guest. They were loud and obnoxious with music and slamming of doors. I called the front desk multiple times. Finally on the 3rd call the front desk associated came to quite them down. When I left in the morning I complained again. Agent response was i did come and no one answered the door for the a joining room. I said I know when you finally came they already hop

This hotel has many things really going for it, and some things that could really use some updating. Overall, we absolutely would stay there again. We were there in the summer and the outdoor patio is so amazing. The whole place, in fact, is beautifully landscaped. This absolutely sets the state for ones entire stay there. Every morning I had my breakfast outdoor on the landscaped patio, under the shade umbrella. The breafasts are typical Marriot Bonvoy breakfasts. Our room was very nice and the windows even opened a tad to allow for some fresh air. We also used the pool and hottub. Despite complaints of others regarding its size, I enjoyed the pool in the morning before breakfast. Okay, so it's not a huge lap pool. You can't expect it in a smaller hotel. My sister and I stayed here for three nights along with a large group of others in town to celebrate David Cassidy, who lived in West Orange as a kid. We honestly didn’t expect the hotel to be this nice—loved it! Our suite was beautiful and spotless, as was the entire hotel. It was a stretch of 95° days, so the hallways were a bit warm, but the room stayed cool and comfortable with the A/C running all week.||I didn’t discover the pool until the last day, but I’m so glad I did—it was a perfect way to wind down.
