Residence Inn by Marriott St. Louis O'Fallon

Appreciated great service from staff. Adrian kept breakfast stocked and clean. Chris at front desk provided a smooth check in and acknowledgement of titanium status. Not sure names but other members kept sidewalks and pathways salted and free of snow. Lobby always had water and coffee available. Rooms need renovations but location was excellent right near 64 and other places in Missouri. Etipping was a welcomed option. Some issues with property maintenance; was resolved by management. Would love to return after a renovation.

Shame on your hotel manager for de-prioritizing youth hockey teams coming in for a tournament. This was a group reservation booked well in advance thru hockey tournament organizers. Shame on your staff for not questioning the lapse in judgement. You walked 11-12 year old kids to other hotels not nearby, breaking up the teams. Causing confusion and disruption for kids traveling from out of state. Shame!!! If you over-book, you walk others!! Then, Residence Inn walks a family but asks them to come back to Residence Inn only for breakfast so the hotel doesn’t have to cover their breakfast charges at the other hotel??! What?? This is NOT hospitality. This is not the Marriott way. Ya’ll should know better. Don’t stay at this hotel. Plenty of other hotels to spend your good money. 💰 👎

Overall: The staff was exceptionally friendly, helpful, and accommodating, providing excellent service throughout our stay. The room was clean, well furnished, and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was very good, offering a nice range of options. While I didn’t use the pool, it appeared clean and well maintained. Overall, this was a pleasant place to stay with great staff, and I would happily return. Minor Critiques (Less Relevant): The hotel does show some age and general wear. While it is overall well maintained, a closer look reveals that some of the finer details could use more attention. There are scattered scuffs and wall damage, areas that appear to have been patched or repaired quickly rather than carefully, rusty vents, and some discoloration on the shower ceiling from condensat

The place is a mess! The AGM there said I couldn't afford an upgraded room. Hotel smelled liked animal urine. The breakfast guy/girl it was hard to tell, but they had the worst attitude and could care less about making me the guest happy. Was to busy worried about his nails and eyelashes. The General Manager seemed to be distracted when I complained and needs to find anoher job she could care less about any guest.

Everything and everyone made our stay extremely satisfying. The staff could not have been friendlier- always willing to go the extra mile. The room was well appointed. The two things I care most about - clean sheets and clean bathrooms - passed the white glove test. Breakfast was nicely put together and there were choices for everyone (kids, oldsters, vegetarians). Love having coffee and hot chocolate available around the clock. The pool and fitness room were very nice (we used it all). The way this hotel is situated, there was no traffic noise of any kind - a real plus in my book. We’re already planning a return stay.
