Cherokee Lakes Campground

This campground is beautiful. We had to find a last minute place to camp, and we were accommodated very nicely. The bath houses are nice and clean. The site was easy to back into and pretty level. I definitely recommend.

This is the cutest Campground! We had such a relaxing experience here! Marie and her staff are wonderful. The sites are clean and well maintained. The bathrooms are SPOTLESS! There’s a cute little store with whatever you might have forgotten. The pool was an awesome bonus :) And it’s quiet! If you are looking for a relaxing, clean, and comfortable place to camp- this is your spot!

This was a nice place to stop overnight. Pros: Affordable ($40 a night) Gravel Sites were taken care of. Grounds were well taken care of. Some sites had shade Dog park Scenic Pool Cons: A lot of road noise-definitely need AC or fan on. No website/booking online Sites are pretty close together

If you’re looking for spotless bathrooms and showers, this is the place. Truly a hidden gem! We travel cross-country in our campervan twice a year between Montana and North Carolina, so we’ve stayed at our fair share of campgrounds—some lovely, some… character-building. After a couple days on the road, we were desperate for showers and needed to top off our water. I called Gina a few hours ahead, and she was incredibly kind, offered us an amazing rate since we didn't need hook-ups, and gave crystal-clear after-hours instructions. Since it’s the off-season, she told us to pick any spot in the back by the tent sites, and we had that whole area to ourselves. It was so quiet we slept like actual rocks. But the SHOWER SITUATION is where Cherokee Lakes truly shines. My husband and I both agree

This was a beautiful campground, priced good, everything was extremely clean. Restrooms was clean, it was mowed nice.nice dog park, if we go this way again I will definitely stay there again. They had a pool and it was clean.
