Customer Reviews
New property perfectly situated near Northgate station. Quiet, spacious and many options for food nearby for either grocery or dine in. Staff was welcoming and the room was clean. Feedback from coworkers are the rooms are better opposite side of the rail. Breakfast is typical Residence Inn . I did like the fact they had a selection of Chobani yogurts in the morning would love to see a bit more fruit. The gym was solid. Good machines assortment for resistance training and cardio. Can get a bit more crowded in the morning so I’d plan ahead. For perspective, I have over 1000 nights in Marriott properties and this is by far the best Residence Inn and most Courtyards. Recommended with enthusiasm.
After two recent stays, one in September and another in November, I can say with complete confidence that the Residence Inn Northgate has earned its place as my go-to hotel whenever I visit the Seattle, WA area. . . The location is unbeatable: right off the freeway, close to Seattle, Lynnwood, and the University of Washington, and just steps away from the Northgate Link light rail station, the Kraken Community Iceplex, and a growing selection of neighborhood food options. . . Parking is plentiful and convenient with both covered and outdoor options. While the $25 nightly fee isn’t ideal, the accessibility makes it worth it. One thing to note: if you park in the parking structure, make sure you’re in the correct Residence Inn section; otherwise, you may be towed. Once you know where to park
The room layout and amenities were ideal for traveling with children. Would also be ideal for anyone staying for several days. Everything was still very new and well maintained. Our view was suboptimal but it was a lower level and we only stayed one night. Minor noise from the highway/light rail but not troublesome for us and would allow for easy access to any activities.
Stayed for several days with a vehicle. Housekeeping is almost nonexistent. Rooms were clean upon arrival and stocked. The market in the lobby is super expensive. We ordered groceries and we were comfortable. Breakfast was good and amenities were nice. So convenient near the train and I-5.
Nice, new, clean hotel. Easy walk to the commuter train, saved a lot versus ridiculous hotel and parking prices downtown. Will definitely stay here again next time I’m in the area. Only thing I’d say is you do hear the train as it’s like 50 feet from the track. It did not bother me, and I liked watching the train and i-5, but if you’re a light sleeper you might ask for a room on the east side of the hotel
