Residence Inn by Marriott Providence Downtown

We had tickets to a college basketball game at the Amica Pavilion so we spent the night at this Residence Inn. (It’s literally across the street). We arrived in the morning and were able to get a room earlier than the usual check in time… lucky for us. The woman at check in was so nice. She also knows the area well so she gave us some great ideas for places to eat lunch at stuff to check out in the area. Our room was nice. Plenty of room and it was quiet. It’s in a good location if you’re going to the Pavilion or the Convention Center. Both are right across the street. There’s also stuff to do that’s in walking distance. We parked in the parking garage that’s right across the street but the hotel offers valet parking. It’s close to the highway so it’s easy to get to Overall we had a very g

Stayed two nights for a business trip. My employer chose the hotel. Very comfortable and spacious room. My former NYC apartment was smaller. Smart design/layout - from a vanity area for makeup/hair styling to a tv that rotates letting you watch from anywhere in the room. Clean. Quiet. Breakfast is ok, opens at 630am. ||Comfortable, spacious lobby. Not sure of the bar’s hours - it was mostly closed. However there are numerous bars and restaurants a short walk away. Front desk staff very nice.||This is my first time staying at a Residence Inn. I guess they cater to longer term stays? I could have lived comfortably there for weeks. Sizable kitchen with all the necessary supplies (pots, pans, utensils, plates etc etc) and even a dishwasher. There are laundry facilities onsite. Limited bathroom

This hotel is great! Easy walk to/from the train, downtown and federal hill. Great breakfast! Nice variety. The rooms here were really nice; thoughtful layout. We worked remotely Friday during the day and it was a great balance at the desk and bar area for two. Really nice to have the kitchen here as well - we didn't really cook but made use of the coffee pot, microwave and frig for leftovers! Nice bath products (wish lotion would've been included).

Shawn and Mikala were top notch. Actually everyone of the late night desk employees were exceptional. Especially when dealing with a pain in the neck such as myself. I wish they had parking, but the valet team is awesome too. The woman who made breakfast on my last night there is amazing! I would recommend this to anyone who needs a long term room. As for the room itself the cracked stove is a bit of a safety hazard. Also they don’t clean the dishwasher filters.

Hotel was great--clean and comfortable just how I like it! No free parking though as it's in the downtown area. Right across from the AMP. Overnight parking $25 in lot across the street. Front desk at check in didn't give any info, just key. So I woke up on Saturday thinking breakfast was over at 10 or 1030 but it was over at 930am!! Other than that it was fine. Gave a 4 for that reason and no parking.
