Renaissance Providence Downtown Hotel

This was my first time visiting Rhode Island, and I truly had a wonderful first impression thanks to Jillian at the front desk. From the moment I checked in this morning, she was exceptionally professional, warm, and welcoming. What stood out most was not only her kindness, but her genuine attentiveness. She carefully listened to every guest’s requests and did her very best to accommodate each one with patience and sincerity. Her supportive attitude and calm presence made the check-in process smooth and pleasant. It is clear that she takes great pride in her work and cares deeply about providing excellent service. Because of her, my first experience here in Rhode Island began on such a positive note. I sincerely hope the hotel recognizes her outstanding professionalism and dedication.

Positive: Quiet room Negative: It didn?t seem 4-star quality. There were water stains on the room ceiling, only one regular coffee for the coffee maker, the shower leaks.

This hotel is beautiful. The rooms and the interior decor is beautiful. My bed was the most comfortable bed I have every slept on in a hotel. Very quiet room. Clean and well appointed. The location is great and you can easily walk to various attractions. Every staff member I interacted with was professional, polite, friendly and helpful. This is a first class hotel.

We decided to stay at this hotel on a whim after traveling much of the day. They were able to accommodate an early check in as well. We requested a room with a Capitol view and we got such a wonderful room with the view. The in house restaurant was also great. We were there on Christmas day and the staff that worked were top notch. There is an awesome mall right down the block too that has plenty of shops and a movie theater. After we left, my Wife and I couldn't stop talking about how great our stay here was. Thank you for the Christmas memories!

A suitable hotel in the downtown area. It was a pretty standard hotel room, clean with basic furnishings. Our biggest issue was that parking is paid valet only ($45 overnight), or you have to self park in the mall garage ($25 overnight). The cleaning service also came surprising early in the morning at 9am. Overall a nice stay, but nothing special for the price.
