Residence Inn by Marriott Minneapolis St. Paul/Roseville

I just checked out from this hotel after about a month except for the weekends, I was there about 20 nights. I can't say enough about how phenomenal the front desk staff is here! I wish I had names to call out but I never ask their names (the young lady that works at night and early morning and then there are 2 ladies that work in the afternoons that are normally there together when I would get back after work around 4pm). They all stand out as going above and beyond. Also the gentleman that works in the kitchen during breakfast is great and the manager is great too! We were there during our anniversary and they had a bottle of champagne in our room when we came back. They also stored my luggage for me over the weekend which was very helpful. Positive: I liked the size of the room. And the breakfast room and breakfast were pretty nice. Good coffee! Great fitness room. Negative: I think it needs renovations. The carpet seemed dirty. The bed was not all that comfortable and seemed to have too many bouncy springs. The window shades were not attractive but were definitely functional.

room was very nice and clean, although the bed was pretty hard and was hard to sleep but overall, staff were all great, good selection for breakfast (waffles were a little on the hard side). Rachel front desk was very accommodating and very helpful she definitely has great customer service. thank you

I rarely post reviews but I had to after seeing so many positive reviews of this hotel. The staff was great, everyone was friendly, and the daily breakfast was a nice perk. The room layouts were perfect for our family’s 4 night stay. But the cleanliness/hygiene of the room was BAD. To start, we found someone’s dirty sandal behind one of the bedroom doors. Not a small baby shoe, but a grown man’s entire shoe. Then the top comforter on the bed had multiple holes on it- impossible to miss (see pic). The couch had multiple stained spots. The carpet was pulling out in multiple parts in the floor. It was just not well taken care of and had an entirely sloppy room turnover.
