DoubleTree by Hilton Roseville Minneapolis

Double Tree Hotel in Roseville has come to earn my 100/100. The recent renovation has taken the hotel to a new level. Their party room is so spacious and can be customized to meet the need of any gathering. The staff are super nice and helpful. The CPY gala 2025 edition was the best and the location played a big role. Check it out

Staff was pleasant. The rooms were clean and the best part of it all was the pool/hot tub. Honestly one of the best pool/hot tubs we have been to at a hotel. Water in the pool was warm, and it was clean. Location is great because there is a lot (groceries, food, etc) in the surrounding areas.

Good location near the University of Minnesota. A little dated, it overall a decent stay for a reasonable price. I’m used to Hiltons having free coffee in the lobby 24/7 so that was a disappointment. However, the front desk was super helpful when someone was screaming late at night and dealt with it promptly. Free parking and a great pool area with a hot tub and sauna that were remarkably clean for a weekend.

Positive: "" Negative: My room was next to a me hanical room. There was a horrible, constant buzz/hum that kept me up til 3am til I finally passed out. Tried moving around the room to find the quietest spot. Horrible experience. I would also hate to know the chemical levels..

The rooms were dark and dingy. Wallpaper was bubbling off the walls and the lighting was poor. The bathrooms are super small, dark and no exhaust fans to remove the humidity after a shower. My bed felt like a teeter totter as it did not sit flat on the foundation. The smell of weed wafted through the adjoining door to the room next to me. The hotel was sold out so there was no option to change rooms. It was a real bummer to spend 40k points to stay the night. I really needed to have a comfortable, relaxing night after a super stressful day and this just didn't hit the mark. I have never had a bad night at a Hilton but two back to back nights, two different Hiltons was not how I expected my out of town stay to go.
