Residence Inn by Marriott Miami Beach Surfside

Highly recommend! Great service! Beach access across the street. Courtyard in the middle of the hotel is quiet and pleasant to sit at. Pool deck feels luxurious with heated pool and working grill for cookouts! Very helpful for 2 week stay for business trip due to having kitchenet with plates, cups, and cutlery! Groceries, mall, restaurants, and shops all within walking distance!

We just concluded our second stay. We stayed 9 days. We’d stayed here earlier this year and had a really good visit. This visit was slightly less terrific which all related to service.||First the good things…this hotel is in a quiet terrific location. Beach is across the street and we like the towel and chair loans from the front desk. We also like that we could use the Surfside Community Center which is a pool complex on the ocean one block north. It’s also terrific and we like the mix of beach and pool and it is quiet and clean. We also really like this hotel’s pool. Parking is easy and we come and go quickly. The staff are very nice and work hard to keep everything running and that’s obvious to see. ||The bad things this trip…housekeeping was abysmal. We arrived and needed to

The main elevator broke, they provide bicycles and all of them where not functioning. The breakfast is bad

Great location, however service has room for improvement. I had to ask multiple times for coffee, towels, extra bedding etc… and they never delivered them unless I asked 4-5 times. The front desk employee Kaan though, was very pleasant and helpful which helped my experience be a little more positive. Overall great location, clean room, and okay service (with the exception of Kaan he was great!)

The location of this hotel is very good. Nearly everything else is terrible, the assistant manager always at the front desk should not be customer facing. Rude and always looking for an argument. I had messaged the hotel prior to arrival which they guaranteed via Bonvoy app chat that i was indeed upgraded. Upon arrival we were not upgraded and then told they never said we were upgraded....The pool area says they have service starting at 12, staff only show around 12:25. Put your order in quick as it takes an hour for a salad. Least inviting hotel i have stayed at. We went to another hotel for our last few days. If you can choose another hotel you should.
