Bluegreen Vacations Solara Surfside Resort

We had two one-bedroom apartments for our group of 6 - so we used the pull out sofa in each apartment to accommodate 1 person. The apartments we had were super spacious. Loved the kitchen with breakfast bar and all the closet space. With so many closets they really need to put more than 6 hangers in there. The place was super clean and the kitchen was well equipped. The location was super - short walk out to the beach. Loved that 2 chairs and an umbrella were part of the deal for each apartment. We did not use the pool area as the pool was not available but the beach was better anyway. There was very decent coffee available from 7-11am in the lobby. The fitness room was quite good for such a property, and also very well maintained. There is construction happening on one side of the buildin

We really enjoyed our stay here, the staff was super friendly and helpful. Having the beach right in front of the hotel was the best part. The amenities are great as well. You don't need a car once you are here. The local eateries and transportation are super easy to find and navigate.

My favorite vacation spot just steps from the beach and with a full kitchen in every unit. Just want to give a big kudos of appreciation for the couple that puts out our complimentary loungers, tables and umbrellas on the beach at Solara at Surfside! They are very attentive and out there in all kinds of weather! Their contract is up for renewal in January and I know we all would love to see them renewed! They work VERY hard every single day!

I went there and the staff was amazing! The beach was the best part of the trip. I had a wonderful time at that hotel no complains everyone was so kind especially The assistant manager Andres Mejia, he was so kind and helpful, he helped me find good places to go!

Very unfortunate the building next door collapsed which took some lives years ago. Probably going to experience some construction for a while on the southside of the building. The resort does offer some amenities. I like the fact that they affiliated within the local community that offers free trolley trips to South Miami every 20 min. and ride shares north toward Ft Lauderdale.
