Residence Inn by Marriott Mechanicsburg

My husband has stood here quite a few times over these few weeks and has just left yesterday he asked me to make a review for him. From my understanding he was very pleased with the cleanliness and very friendly staff, A few names to mention with beyond expectational service the night time front desk I believe her name is Yisrael very high energy and friendly for an overnight employee. Another two agents that were named amazing was Raheem and Liz very polite and kind he stated you guys made him feel right at home and we greatly appreciate your service. Next time I am looking forward to staying with my husband. We really appreciate these rare gems we Highly recommend staying here.

Thank you Liz, Nadeem, Miranda and Raheem for a friendly, professional, smooth check-in/check-out. The hotel is new and everything is fresh and clean. It was awesome having a kitchen in the room. My son was very happy to use the pool for his birthday. Harley at breakfast was super nice, as well. Great, quiet stay. Highly recommend.

I got food poisoning from the hard-boiled eggs at breakfast, and the way the situation was handled by the manager was extremely disappointing. When we spoke with her, she said, “Well I ate the eggs and I was fine,” and insisted that they were kept on ice… basically questioning that I got sick from their food. She also told us that if I was “really sick” I could have gone to the hospital, which is not how food poisoning is typically treated… you just have to let it run its course unless there’s complications. So her comments were not only unhelpful but very dismissive. She also tried to say that the timing of my illness didn’t line up, even though it absolutely did. I hadn’t eaten anything else that could have caused it, and the symptoms were textbook food poisoning. Being doubted when you

IThis was one of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever experienced. Dogs were barking and running in the hallways all night, making it impossible to sleep. The front desk was no help at all — the only solution offered was moving us to another room, which ended up having a broken shower. On top of that, there was dog hair everywhere — in the hallways, on the furniture, and even in the room. The entire place felt more like a kennel than a hotel. If you’re looking for a clean, quiet place to stay, avoid this hotel. Completely disappointing experience.

Rooms are large and nice. Everything is new and modern. There is a bar and breakfast on ground level near entrance. Lounge in lobby and outdoor seating. Pool seemed nice and not too busy. The gym is a little small but was not busy and has enough equipment. The suite room has dishware and utensils, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, and in sink disposal.
