Residence Inn by Marriott Hazleton

Way above average for a Residence Inn. We did a points stay and got upgraded to a fireplace room. Property is updated, staff super friendly, and breakfast was better than usual for a Residence property. Kids loved using the indoor pool Awesome value for points stay, way above average for Marriott properties in this tier

We had a handicapped accessible room with a roll-in shower. Check-in was smooth, and everyone at the hotel was welcoming and helpful. The room was very clean and nicely set up to accommodate my wheelchair. The kitchenette was well appointed and had everything we needed. The bathroom’s hair care & body wash were of good quality, and the towels were large and very soft.|We had only two issues. First, the king sized bed’s mattress was not supportive enough, and I had back pain after sleeping, but my husband had no problem.|The second is a steady, rather loud, and constant buzzing noise in the room. We kept searching for the source, but couldn’t find it until we went outside to find a unit for the A/C or heat (?) making that noise right outside the room. |If you are on the first floor

Great service from Kiara, Michael and Kristin. These 3 front desk agents were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. We had a beautiful room thanks to Kiara at check-in. She listened to our needs and made every effort to deliver. The afternoon cookies, warm apple cider and popcorn are a sweet treat daily. The breakfast buffet is delicious and offers something for everyone. You must come hungry. The outdoor fireplace is super relaxing and comfortable. I’d highly recommend this property if you need an efficiency type room or a long term stay. The only drawback is there are two buildings being constructed in close proximity but the noise level was minimal. It’s more of an eyesore than anything else.
