Residence Inn by Marriott Georgetown

First time staying at this brand new hotel location and will definitely stay here again when in Georgetown or in Austin area. The staffs are extremely friendly and courteous and helpful with one of the best checking in experiences. The lady was so nice and greeted us politely and acknowledging the Marriott Platinum member was very-very appreciated and automatically applied the benefits like complimentary room upgrades, point gifts, bottle water and late checkout etc. without having to ask etc. Room is very spacious with kitchen area sitting area, working area and sleeping area and really clean as this is a new hotel. Everything is almost perfect!

TLDR: the room was amazing! The bed was actually not a block of wood. The staff was nice. Breakfast was a little lacking but still good. We stayed 2 nights on a weekend. I chose this hotel because it was newly build so I was hoping for better air conditioning. I was just in another older hotel and the room was musty smelling due to the AC. The room did not let me down. The AC was great, the bed was on the harder side but not as hard as every other bed you see at other hotels, the room was set up great and had many amenities, and everything was nice and clean. The only service people we really interacted with was the front desk and they were nice, a little talky but that is fine with me. The parking lot and drive up to the hotel was a little oddly shaped. The hotel was nice and we enjoyed our stay. It is so close to the hub of Georgetown. The staff was also friendly and inviting. My only complaint, if I have to list one, is that there was salt (or sugar) on the kitchenette counter when we arrived. There was coffee in the room with creamer and sweetener but no to-go coffee cups and the last thing would be no hand soap in the bathroom. We were given an upgrade and an earlier check-in in which made me happy. I would for sure return and stay again

This hotel is in a great location. There’s an Aldi’s grocery store across the parking lot, and it’s only a mile from the historical town square. There’s lots of great restaurants within walking distance.||The workout room was very clean and well equipped. The pool was also clean. This is a newer property and the rooms were fresh and clean. There’s a laundry room that appeared to be very clean. ||My only suggestion would be some improvements on breakfast. Both mornings we stayed, they ran out of many items. We ended up eating at restaurants both mornings.||Overall I would recommend this property. The front desk staff was great and very accommodating.

We had a wonderful stay at the Residence Inn - Georgetown, TX! The rooms were incredibly spacious and spotless clean. It felt so modern and comfortable—a true home away from home. We'll definitely be back next time we're in the area!
