Holiday Inn Express & Suites Georgetown by IHG

Positive: Breakfast was delicious! Negative: The smell in our room was stale, small space for sleeping 4. The shampoo and conditioner bottles they had were dove and im 1000% sure it was the cheapest crap they could find to refill the bottles. The hotel was trashy.

Nice room and easy access off the highway. Unfortunately, can't do much about the road noise outside but if it's really a problem, I'm sure they could move you to the other side of the hotel. Very clean well-kept room. All the amenities are available. If I were to recommend an improvement, I would ask the person working the breakfast area to not be chatting on her cell phone while working. She was on the phone the whole time I was eating breakfast. Minor distraction but it just seems a little out of character with the quality of Holiday Inn. Also, I was a little surprised that a $25 "access fee" was going to be added to my bill with the understanding that it would be reimbursed after I check out. Not sure if that's for damages or what but, it was new for me. I look forward to seeing it

Stayed one evening at this hotel. I must admit it was my 2nd choice (my first, the Hampton Inn, had no vacancies at the time of booking). Overall I'd say it was okay. The service was good, the room was clean. (The walls and floors were a bit thin, allowing neighboring voices and footsteps to be heard and felt.) However, all things considered, I give the complimentary breakfast an A+ and the small dining area B+ to an A-.

I had an overall pleasant experience during my stay at this hotel. The hotel is conveniently located near town, making it easy to explore the area. The rooms were clean and equipped with the basic amenities needed for stay. The bed was cozy and comfortable. The A/C was not working during my stay, but I had a late check-in so I did not have a chance to advise the hotel staff. I pretty sure that if I would advise them, they would have solved the problem. The staff was friendly and breakfast was good.

Stayed here for my daughters softball tournament in town. When I checked in I was told my room was upgraded to a suite at no charge! Was a pleasant surprise! We enjoyed the pool and hot tub and their breakfast was one of the best breakfasts we’ve had at any hotel. Would recommend staying here to anyone needing a room in the area! All staff I encountered were very friendly!
