Room was large and clean. Breakfast had good variety with both hot and cold options. Note there is a $10 parking charge per day. This seems like a total cash grab for a hotel that is not downtown.

This has been a frustrating stay, to say the least.||THE GOOD: While it is definitely dated in design, the rooms at least seem to have been kept in good condition. No one is going to look at brown walls, brown furniture, brown countertops as being modern by any stretch. But the room condition itself is pretty good.||THE BAD: That's about where the Good ends.||The Room: When we went in our room, we were excited to see a pilot light lit in the fireplace. But the dial to activate how long the fireplace lights up is broken. So no fireplace on our 40 degree nights here. Also, the A/C and heat are way too variable in the room. One bedroom is freezing while the other is much, much warmer. There are no slats to manually close off the air, so with a single thermostat, you have to figure out which r

Breakfast here comes with free surveillance. The African American lady staff member at the breakfast counter carefully monitors every waffle, egg, and toast you take — like a calorie police officer. I half expected a prison guard whistle if I grabbed a second muffin. If you enjoy eating breakfast under intense supervision, this is the place for you.

I've stayed here twice (4 days each) travelling for business and here's my thoughts. Rooms: First stay, my room was well maintained, no weird ordors and quiet. Second stay, my room smelled like pot, particularly the bathroom, so I requested another room. The next room was ok but the extra blanket in the closet was damp- clean yet damn. I let it air dry and it was slightly off putting/mildew smelling but after it fully dried the odor was no longer present. Animal friendly: big low bark from a dog when walking through hallway/opening door. A dog jumped on me near the elevator. Breakfast: standard breakfast included which is appreciated. Stayed here for two nights, my room was very clean and spacious. No bed bugs or weird smells. The room was sound proof I hardly heard other guest. The bed was okay not the most comfortable but pretty good. The complimentary breakfast is phenomenal. We had it twice and they continuously stocked it which was great. Definitely would recommend and stay here again. The lobby was clean and the staff was very kind. My only feedback was the elevator was a little dirty and could use a wipe down from the inside.
