Homewood Suites by Hilton Denver Tech Center

Our family and dog stayed here for two nights. I felt like it was a great value for the price. Check-in was seamless and front desk offered our dog a treat. The room was very clean and I’m pretty sure we had to be one of the first guests in the newly renovated room. It was spacious, like a small apartment. There’s a kitchenette with a full size fridge, dishwasher, and a stove top (no oven). There were utensils, plates, bowls, pots, etc. I like how the bedroom area is separate from the living area. It was very quiet, which having a dog that barks at every noise, was very helpful. The reasons I didn’t rate the room 5 stars are because they still have old a/c and heating units that blew out tons of dust and blew air out constantly- even if the unit was off. Positive: Very nice, the staff was very nice. I've already booked to stay there again. Negative: We couldn't get the tv to work and the staff even tried but couldn't get it. They came up and fixed it a few hours before we checked out but they took some money off my bill.

We stayed here for two weeks, and I would recommend avoiding a stay during renovations if you have other options, as it will definitely impact your experience. On our first night, there was a water outage. On our last day, when I was bringing my luggage downstairs, all of the elevators were occupied by workers moving furniture, and I couldn’t fit in with the luggage cart. I managed to squeeze into an elevator with one large suitcase by going up first and then back down, but I had to carry the rest down the stairs several times, which was very inconvenient. Housekeeping was also inconsistent. The floor and toilet were not cleaned every time, even when there was visible dirt. Nice place. Clean. Friendly staff. Some (maybe all?) of the rooms have kitchens with full size refrigerators and cook tops (no oven though). My one recommendation is to bring your own pillow. The ones in the room offer zero neck support and you are bound to wake up with kinks in your neck.
