Residence Inn by Marriott Cherry Hill Philadelphia

Positive: The breakfast was great. Negative: The rug/floor of our room was filthy. It left the bottoms of our feet black!

We stayed at Residence Inn Cherry Hill for nearly three months after being displaced from our home due to a fire. This was supposed to be a stable relocation solution for our family of five, including three school-aged children. Instead, we experienced: • No heat for over a week • No hot water for more than two weeks • Only two cleanings in three months (after repeated requests) • No routine trash removal • Rare towel replacement • Visible dust, debris, old food, and prior guest items left under furniture We ultimately moved rooms due to plumbing issues, but the overall standards remained unacceptable. Extended-stay guests still deserve basic cleanliness, functioning utilities, and responsiveness from staff. Unfortunately, that was not our experience here. This was a deeply stressful

The room was pleasant and comforable. Considering it is only accessible by car it is noteworthy they charge a fee to park outside wherever you can find a spot. Travelers stay in hotels, so it would be really nice to have a spare roll of toilet paper. We were 2 people arriving late and had little TP and no spare anywhere. Yay for tissues. Went to get coffee in the main house in the AM and the bathroom there had TP but nothing to dry my hands (no paper towels no dryer). The beds were comfy and made up nicely, no extra blankets or anything but you can adjust the thermostat. Really works as its a suite with a nice size living room/kitchen area, easy if you have kids and we stayed there another time with 3 kids and had plenty of room.

This is possibly my least favorite Marriott Hotel experience ever. The first room we received had a very bad odor that to me smelled like old pets. I tried calling the front desk from the room several times to see if another room was available- no one ever picked up the phone. I finally walked over to discuss in person. There was one person working the front desk with several people in line ahead of me. Eventually another person came out to handle a problem with one of the other guests on line and I heard it said that she was the manager. This manager fixed the problem and disappeared into the back. Since I was still standing on line I asked if someone else can come out to help move things along and I was told no. Finally it was my turn. The front desk person did not hesitate to give me an

I made the mistake of ignoring the reviews, and I truly regret it. This was by far one of the worst properties I’ve ever stayed at. A $250 deposit for a run-down, outdated hotel with poor customer service is completely unreasonable. The pricing does not match the value of the stay at all. The Airbnb host was rude and unprofessional, and unfortunately Airbnb offered no meaningful support to resolve the issues. The TV in my room did not work for my entire stay, even after I reported it shortly after checking in. Nothing was done to fix the problem. To make matters worse, I was initially checked into the wrong room and had to relocate in freezing temperatures due to staff carelessness. The entire experience was frustrating and disappointing from start to finish. I would not recommend staying
