Residence Inn by Marriott Buffalo Downtown

We had been staying in Air BnBs for most of our 30-day road trip, so I wasn’t really looking forward to staying for three days in a hotel. I was pleasantly surprised by the Residence Inn in downtown Buffalo. What I liked: The room was very spacious. The bed and pillows were about the most comfortable on our 30-day trip. The hotel and the room itself were very quiet. I always appreciate having a kitchen with a full-size refrigerator. The breakfast was reasonably good for a hotel, self-serve breakfast and it was nice not having to spend an addition $5 for a cup of coffee or $25 for breakfast. They actually provided housekeeping, a rarity since Covid. Free parking, free parking, free parking. What I didn’t like: The draperies were opened and closed with a remote, which didn’t work

AGM, Hailey, was fantastic in resolving a problem during check in. She was very detailed & thorough. The entire Front Desk team (Cheyenne & i forget the ladys name in the morning) were very friendly & kind throughout the stay. The rooms were nice & clean. The breakfast was delicious. Great stay overall & great location with parking in the city.

The Residence Inn was wonderful from the outset. As soon as we entered we felt welcomed by the staff and knew we were going to love our stay. The foyer was bright with a lovely atmosphere and abundant seating areas including an area containing books and games. Our room was spacious and clean with a wonderfully comfortable bed, lovely seating area and a well equipped kitchen which included a dishwasher. There was also the option to order supplies and have them delivered to your room should you wish to just cook your meals there. Breakfast was plentiful and good quality with excellent coffee also provided. The pool was clean and a towel placed on each chair for the use of guests, there was also a plentiful supply of extra towels on hand. Outside there was a lovely fire pit surrounded by comf

Enjoyed my stay very much. Staff was friendly and attentive. Room was great. Location is a little lacking in the way of walkability to other places. They have a great breakfast selection that is free.

Highly recommend this hotel when you are traveling to Buffalo. We have stayed here numerous times now that our daughter goes to college in Buffalo and plan to stay here in the future. Hotel is clean. Breakfast is hot. Staff are friendly.
