Residence Inn by Marriott Bend

I would love to give this place five stars, but they put us in a double queen room instead of the single king we originally made the reservation for. Whatever. We sleep on a queen mattress at home. It’ll be fine, I thought. What they don’t tell you is the “queen” beds are substantially smaller than a standard queen mattress. I used my phone’s LIDAR sensor and measured 55” which is not very comfortable for two people. As a token of apology, they comp’d our parking ($15/night), but three nights of free parking is simply not worth three nights in an uncomfortable bed. So I don’t know what to say at this point. This was our second visit to this motel. Overall we absolutely love it here. The walkability is excellent. We love being able to get to the park and shopping areas so quickly. The views from the building are incredible and it's in a great setting. Staff is friendly and helpful and were very caring and sweet with my son. Only complaints are the $10 parking fee per day- doesn't seem necessary at all, there's ample parking and it feels like a rip off. And the lack of ovens in the room/ toaster ovens available to guests. We only ate fresh fruit from the breakfast area. Brought our own food otherwise. Standard American Diet processed and high-sugar food breakfast was served.

Hello, as the title to my review states my last stay here was completely average. Unremarkable in every way and I’ve stayed here many times and as I stay around 75 nights a year at Marriotts. Is average the best they can do? It’s not a cheap hotel by any means. ||||The breakfast was average Marriott prison food on paper plates and plastic silverware all going in the garbage yet they claim to be so environmentally friendly with the towels and housekeeping the irony. ||||The last of the toiletries (lotion) has vanished from it seems Residence Inn’s, I stayed at two separate hotels and both no longer have it. Can’t wait to see what’s next to go? Laundry bag? Conditioner? ||||Guests cannot open the windows at this hotel which is a shame because Bend is all about fresh air. The fan on the HV

This was a Great location that is well maintained and has great Staff. Rooms were well appointed and clean. Excellent location with everything within walking distance. Pet friendly, with plenty of open area to run the animals, for a fee. Not only was there ample parking, but it was a comfortable place to stay when you're in Bend for more than a minute!

We stayed at this property during the Christmas break 2026. Location is great. Rooms are clean. Staff Exxxx (5 stars) and Daxxxx (5 Stars) were professional and helpful in understanding and acknowledging the elite member's request. However, Staff Amxxxx needs more training in acknowledging elite members' rights. She took away my request and blamed her fellow team for her own lack of understanding of how the system works. This caused unnecessary mental stress to the guests and her fellow team members. The Manager (5.5 stars) listened to what happened and honored the upgrade. Thank you! :) They promised to reimburse 5k points. Looking forward to the arrival of the points.
