Residence Inn by Marriott Baltimore White Marsh

The staff was great and friendly. Rooms and beds need renovated. The air handler was about 2 feet from the bed but was the loudest system I’d ever experienced in a hotel. Got the high speed WiFi and the speed was averaging 1Mbps. For comparison the upgraded WiFi at the Hilton garden in averages 70 Mbps and most hotels average about 40. Over two days of troubleshooting with their ISP it had not gotten resolved. I ended up checking out and moving to a Hilton. Way better choice.

Anajha was extremely helpful and also was the one who informed me that there is a marriott for business program which I have since applied for. She also was able to get me into a room really quickly and was super friendly and professional. Destinee also was very helpful as the 1st room I was in didn't have blackout curtains. She moved my room and also noticed my tier status and upgraded the room. There was one other lady there too who was super friendly too I just forgot her name. The hotel is clean and in a prime location

Positive: I?ve stayed here multiple times and every time the staff has been pleasant and helpful. I had lost my mother in my drive into MD and the staff was all extremely sensitive and kind to my situation. Negative: I liked that this hotel had full sized coffee makers, however I was told they were recently replaced with the small type every other hotel has, however when i went to the front desk they were able to give me the full sized coffee maker for my room.

I’m upset that I was charged twice. The website said check-in at anytime. I traveled all the way from Utah to Maryland. When I got in they said they cancelled the reservation and the only way to stay was by paying for the stay again. So a $900 stay, as I was waiting for my apartment to be ready turned into an $1800 stay. An air bnb would have easily cost less than that. I’m pretty bummed, honestly. Especially that being my first interaction with someone in Maryland. PLEASE change the check in time maximum, so folks know their reservation will be cancelled otherwise.

Ok, I was here on business for approximately 3months. During that time I stayed here. My room had bugs (some of which I've never seen before). There was one hotel receptionist who was rude to me. She's Black and always wore a colorful pirate bandana. She was the only rude receptionist all the other receptionist were very professional and kind. Something positive, my room had a fireplace in it. That was pretty cool.
