Residence Inn by Marriott Atlanta Downtown

This hotel is in a great location in the heart of downtown Atlanta, near tons of restaurants, shops, Mercedes Benz stadium, and the Marta Station which goes directly to and from the Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta Airport. William checked me in when I arrived and provided immaculate service. He’s welcoming, informative, professional, and made me feel at home. Great service by William. He set the tone for a good stay at Residence Inn Atlanta Downtown. The housekeeping staff is also professional, and friendly.

My partner and I stayed there for 3 nights. We had a really good experience with all the staff. Specially Melbra Bell and Louis, they made our stay the best experience possible. The breakfast was amazing, the kitchen staff were very nice. The location is good (our room had a beautiful view), close to the aquarium and everything, but at night is not very nice. Regardless of that, we had a really good stay. Thank you Melbra and Louis! We hope to see you soon!

Convenient and walkable location. William at the front desk provided great customer service. Shelly from housekeeping was great. The building is historic which I enjoyed. I stayed on the 19th floor so I had great city views. There were a couple of cons. There was a smell in the kitchen area which I believe was the garbage disposal (or maybe dishwasher). Also they have 24 hour laundry but the machines only accept quarters and they don't have change at the front desk nor on site change machines. Other than that pretty decent stay.

Positive: it is close enough (short walking distance) to music venues often used by artists. that's the ONLY reason i stayed here Negative: very thin walls. 50.00 is absolutely crazy for overnight valet for guests. i can understand those that aren't guests. but, that price is ludicrous. especially when you're happening to be traveling alone. it also took a little while to get the car

had a wonderful stay at the Residence Inn Atlanta Downtown! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome and well cared for. I’d especially like to recognize Louie, William, and Rufus, who truly went above and beyond throughout my stay. Their professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail made a huge difference and really elevated my experience. The hotel itself is clean, comfortable, and conveniently located in the heart of downtown Atlanta. My room was spacious, quiet, and well-maintained — perfect for both rest and work during my trip. Thanks again to the amazing team, especially Louie, William, and Rufus, for making my stay memorable. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Atlanta!
