Renaissance Orlando Resort – Disney Springs® Area

My daughter and I have stayed here a couple times for quick Disney trips. It’s a nice location near Disney Springs, is much more affordable than Disney hotels and arguably nicer. The decor is fun and whimsical and the beds are comfortable. We didn’t use many of the facilities because we tend to stay late at the parks and leave early to get to the parks before they open. The breakfast shop has a decent selection and good coffee. Overall comfortable stay and the price is right. My only complaints are the extra parking fee and stark bathroom, but both are minor considering the price point.

I've now stayed at 8 different hotels in or near WDW so far in 2025, including 3 in the Disney Springs area. The Ren is #3 both overall, and near Disney Springs (Hilton Palace, and Hyatt BV are the two I prefer). The staff at the Ren were univserally great and their warmth seemed genuine. I also thought the food in the restaurant/lounge was unuually good for standard American grub; they make staple items like sandwiches and breakfast spreads much better than average. Clearly, whoever's in charge of F&B is a star, even if creativity was lacking.I was traveling with my senior citizen mother, so we requested an accessible room. Sometimes, this gets you an oddly shaped room that is a waste of square footage. This wasn't really the case at the Ren, though there was still a longish hallway

I stayed at Renaissance Orlando Resort – Disney Springs Area from Feb 12 to Feb 16. Unfortunately, this was one of the most disappointing Marriott experiences I’ve had. On the second night of our stay, after midnight (well past 12 AM), the room next to us was extremely loud — constant talking, laughing, and disruptive noise. We contacted the hotel multiple times over a long period before any action was taken. A staff member eventually knocked on their door, but the noise did not improve afterward. When I personally went downstairs to speak with the front desk, I was told that the staff “did not hear any noise in the hallway,” which was surprising and dismissive given how clearly we could hear it inside our room. I genuinely wish I could give the Marriott Renaissance a 100 out of 10 just based on the customer service alone. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warmth, professionalism, and such an effortless check in experience. Emily, Lindsey, Camila, and Oscar completely elevated my two day stay. Every single one of them went above and beyond… not just doing their jobs, but really caring about the guest experience. They were attentive, accommodating, and made everything feel seamless. Everything was great! We stopped in to see if they had a room available because of an issue at a different resort where we had a reservation that didn’t go well. They only had two rooms left. So it worked out. They were super friendly and helpful to us. We truly appreciated the kindness and hospitality. Very nice place! I forgot to take pics of the room. But I took a few out near the pool.
