Relax Inn Motel

The room pictures on the website are misleading. They show rooms with slider doors to grass area & don’t state that there are only a few rooms like that & pets aren’t allowed in those rooms. They also don’t state that the large grassy area pictured is not for dogs. They have a small weedy area filled with goat head stickers that they expect you to bring your dog to potty. This is not a pet-friendly motel. It was nearly 90° when we arrived & the a/c was not on in our room. Cool air only blows on to bed & bathroom remains sweltering. The mini frig was set to the lowest temp & took so long to cool that we didn’t use it. The wi-fi wasn’t good. We do not recommend this motel.

Positive: The staff was very helpful and accommodating?every time I asked for something, they got it for me quickly. They also allowed a late checkout, which I really appreciated. Negative: employee in regular clothes using a key card to enter our room as we were driving away. the bed had hairs and a hole in it. I also requested an extra sheet to cover the furniture due to visible stains. The carpet was heavily worn and stained

Other than the a/c not being on and the room being a sweltering heat at 10 p.m., the service, cleanliness & room itself were very good. I'll look around before staying again, but the price was great!

For an inexpensive motel, Relax Inn was very comfortable and quiet. The young woman who greeted me at the front desk was efficient and friendly. This is not a high-end property, but it was clean and had everything I needed. Refrigerator, microwave, TV, wi-fi. The wi-fi signal was a bit weak, so I used my phone as a hot spot. The breakfast was fine for a room in this price range. Nothing negative at all.

The room was very clean and spacious. Only downside is the dead bolt did not work. I was a woman traveling alone. Room 301. Please fix. Other than that, no problems. Nice hot water for my shower. And I liked the fact is was single level, no stairs.
