Klamath Motor Lodge

The lady at the front desk was very sweet at check in, hence why the 3* for service. But I booked and prepaid for a King size bed and they placed me in a full size one. I had taken all my stuff out of my car by the time I paid attention to the bed and didn’t feel like asking to be moved to the room that I actually paid for, which I should have because it only got worse from here. The carpet had never seen a vacuum before, it was covered in loose dirt. The toilet paper in the bathroom had been soaked before and ain’t no way staff didn’t see it before placing it there. Bedsheets had A LOT of stains and hair all over.

Was making our way back to Oregon and chose the Klamath Motor Lodge as our halfway point. Our stay, while just one night, was very enjoyable. The front desk staff were friendly and informative. The room was clean and clearly sanitized. The heater worked well. When we requested an additional blanket the staff quickly brought us two. The breakfast was a simple continental fare, but the hard boiled eggs were fresh and the frozen waffles were delicious after being toasted. I loved the individual servings of peanut butter. Absolutely no complaints.

I like to play "hotel roulette" with hotwire hot rate deals when I'm on the road for work. This is the second time this year it brought me here. The people are nice. Checking in was fast and easy. It's very close to I5 so convenient for a quick stop for a good night's sleep. Nothing special but hard to beat for the price! The rooms were clean both times. Decent bathroom with good shower water pressure. Good selection of channels on the tv. The bed is comfortable enough. Yreka is pretty quiet and feels safe. Safety matters in my world. If you're looking for an affordable place to get a good night's rest, this is a great option.

Positive: They owners if this hotel are so nice and accommodating. Negative: No . I always stay here when I need to stay in Yreka .

Negatives: i can hear other guests through the wall. I couldn't get into the locked ice room. It felt scetchy at night with guests loudly gathering in the walkways to rooms and covered doors due to painting and updates. No bathtub, showers are in the room though. Positives: I really appreciate having a coffee pot with hot cups and complementary coffee/tea packets in the room. There's also a small microwave and mini fridge to use! Complementary shower caps are awesome too! Clean room with unique bright colored walls. I'm really enjoying the geometric shape & abstraction theme. Overall: 4/5 experience for me.
