Relax Inn

I stayed at Relax Inn for one night in January, 2026. It exceeded my expectations. Very clean room. The bed was comfortable, and they have great cable channel choices. And even better, it’s within walking distance of Caldera Brewery. I highly recommend this small, inexpensive, family owned motel.

I was a little nervous when I drove in to this old, fifties style motel. The owner checked me in though she was confused because I had reserved via Travelocity. There was only one other guest. There are about 20 rooms. The room was clean. No carpet, thank goodness. The air conditioner was quite loud, but that is my only complaint. Also, when I came back at 5 pm on my first day, my room had not been made up and I did not have fresh towels. I talked to the desk and when I returned from dinner, this had been rectified. Otherwise it was ok and met my needs.

Cheap, clean, decent bed. Non-functioning air conditioner that turned off indefinitely after one compressor cycle and refused to do any more compressor cycles if not turned off or switched back to fan only for 10 minutes. Thin-ish walls, despite being concrete sounds carried. Nice staff. Decent for what you pay.

Great little motel. Very affordable, nice rooms. Air conditioning works great, has all of the basic amenities you would want. Person at the front desk was nice and the check-in process was quick. I will definitely be considering a stay here again.

My partner and I stayed here for two nights. It was very affordable, and the bedding was clean. However, we ran into some issues: • The room was very warm (at the start of summer). The built-in air-conditioning unit did not do much to help because it was behind a desk. • The TV remote would only turn the TV on/off and adjust volume. We couldn’t change the channel. • One of the bath towels had large black stains on it. • Multiple appliances (the refrigerator, coffee maker, and microwave) were all plugged into the same power strip. This is a fire hazard. • The bathtub was painted. Paint chips were coming off it which made bathing practically impossible. • As we were checking out, we realized that the key card for the room had been deactivated.
