Regal Inn Guntersville Hwy 431

We arrived, planning to stay one night during a fishing trip. When we got there, there appeared to be suspicious activity in the parking lot that made us uncomfortable. After entering the room, we noticed a very strong, unpleasant odor, and the air conditioner was not working properly. When we checked the beds, there were hairs and visible stains on the sheets, which raised serious concerns about cleanliness. Because of these issues, we immediately decided to leave and stay somewhere else. I would recommend spending a little more money and staying somewhere else.

Positive: Nothing. Negative: Room was filthy, had roaches, broken TV, and rude staff.

We had to find a hotel fast due to my brother having a house fire... I'll start out with the TV issue... couldn't watch it because it had "no signal" according the the owner... When my brother stated to eat his food, roaches started going EVERYWHERE.... My mother paid for 2 nights so your kinda stuck..... The floors was nasty, the refrigerator was dirty along with the bed bugs they have.. My mom went to talk with front desk to see what could be done..... WELL NOTHING could be.... I was talking to the lady for mom because she couldn't hear her through the glass.... she was rude to me and I was rude to her.... I told her she needed to get pest control to get this problem treated... she wasn't hearing anything I had to say.... Just a heads up for anybody who plans to stay here, DONT... She m

Found several dead cockroaches along the bed frame. Comforter had burn hole in it. Considering this was suppose to be a non-smoking room. It was also dirty. The air/heating unit didn't work right. The clerk's attitude needs improvement. The positive was the clerk said if I wanted to cancel my reservation for the next night. I could do so and get a refund. Didn't try the breakfast as I left to get a better one nearby. Can't recommend this motel for now. Perhaps after some updates and better cleaning of rooms. Might change my mind.

Dirty and dingy. Holes in the walls beds are dirty there were 2 unfinished cans of Dr pepper in my room when I got here. Trash can already full, beds are rusting shower covered in mystery spots, but I guess all the roaches are free. I'm hoping I don't get a disease from this hovel.
