Highland Cottages at Lake Guntersville

Clean, Cozy and Convenient!! This place exceeded our expectation! We were able to relax and enjoy some quiet alone time in this beautiful setting. The cottage was impeccably clean with all the amenities. The homemade bread was a wonderful touch. Located close to walking at Lake Guntersville and delicious dining in downtown Guntersville. The owners communicated our arrival instructions ahead of time and reached out to make sure our expectations were met.

From the moment we pulled up we knew this was going to be an amazing experience. Every possible detail about the cottage was top of the line and perfect! From the towel warmer to the most comfortable bed… well honestly everything was perfect! Seriously if you’re thinking about staying there please go ahead and book!! You will not regret it!

We came to Highland Cottages and had the pleasure of staying at Forest Hideaway. We were celebrating our 8th wedding anniversary and it did not disappoint! The level of seclusion and tranquility was top notch. The cottage itself was quaint but very stylish and modern. I loved the outdoor lighting and awaking to a modestly lit room via skylights. Of course our weekend rendezvous wouldn’t be complete without a dip in the jacuzzi which we thoroughly enjoyed despite the outside temperature. The added touches (e.g., fully stocked coffee bar, artisan bread, complimentary Netflix) were added bonuses. Our only regret? Only staying one night! We highly recommend Highland Cottages and will definitely come visit again. Thank you for making our weekend extraordinary!

The most beautiful tiny cottage that I have ever seen. Everything was clean as well as having all the amenities that you would need. Our host was amazing at communicating and super helpful with any questions that I might’ve had. I didn’t want to leave because it was so peaceful and relaxing. I will be booking again 🤍 1000000/10

We had the privilege of staying at The Eagles Nest last week and enjoyed every minute! My husband and I live very busy lives and the cottage was the perfect place for us to unwind and spend quality time together. The property was beautiful and we felt like we had everything we could need. I also thought it was nice that there were drinks in the fridge for us and a loaf of bread with butter when we arrived! So thoughtful! The cottage is the perfect mix of the beauty of the outdoors and the comforts of a high-end hotel. I would recommend it to anyone!!
