Redwood Motel

Posting this on behalf of a friend who still lives there unfortunately but been hearing about the staff entering rooms while folks are sleeping. Friend had property damaged because of it

Go anywhere else. It is not worth the $425 +$200 deposit for room key. It isn’t what is advertised. The outside of the motel is worn down and needs serious attention. The room smells of mildew and mold. My allergies started and had to hook up to my oxygen with in an hour. I took pictures to show the actual reality. I wouldn’t recommend this place to any enemy if I had one. There is a refrigerator and TV (basic cable) not pictured. Gave a rolling bed but not enough room to actually use it. Seriously go anywhere else.

We stayed here back in 2014 The location is great. The place itself is horrible. The place was dirty when we got the room, the oven was filthy, the bathroom was disgusting. The tub had all sorts of mold issues. Under the sink in the kitchen area there was black mold which we asked them to take care of and they didn't so Inreported it and was kicked out for it. We cleaned the room to it's best and never got our security back and no reason given. I have pictures of it to. They allow crime to take place such as drugs being used openly. They are kind to those who they like and others they are very rude to. Very poorly run buisness. Their so called renovations I've witnessed. They bleach mold and paint over it. They don't care to properly clean or repair anything. Don't go there especially if

I know a few people who needed to stay before. They all say that they had to stay a few months but the rent there was 1200 a month. 300 a week i guess. That is outrageous and a ridiculous price for a consistent stay. I believe if someone needs to stay a few months lower the rent a bit. Although they run how they like to but still very high for a consistent stay over few months. The room is the size of a basic living room with a small kitchen inside the room and an attached bathroom. It is impossible to stay there and save money to get an actual home. But maybe that is the point of the high price for the small rooms.

I chose this hotel to live in for a month before I left town to start my business out of state. I didn’t care about any frills and just wanted to be as cheap as possible. Big mistake. ||||It’s fine that things are run down; it’s what I expected. The people who manage the place are friendly enough and seem to try and please the owner (who lives on site), but it’s a mess. People smoking comes through all the ventilations, so if you don’t smoke, this is awful. All my things smelled like smoke and I would wake up being gassed by cig smoke. Overhearing short term guests, some are there on “vouchers” so you really have some desperate people there. Looks like half the people are drifters who live there full time. ||||And the worst of it?
