Holiday Inn Express Janesville-I-90 & US Hwy 14 by IHG

We loved the Janesville Holiday Inn Express. We arrived tired and hungry. Checked in and here they offered us a grilled meal for the evening. It was such a treat. Staff was friendly and welcoming. And breakfast the next morning was great!! Room was clean. And bed was o so comfortable!!

We had a wonderful stay. Room was spacious and quiet. Comfortable beds. Friendly and responsive staff. We enjoyed the nightly happy and were lucky to be there on a night when the general manager treated us to a barbecue. We will definitely stay here again

I was traveling home because my Mom was very sick. I was greeted by a new gal who had just started at this particular hotel. She saw that I was having a hard time and offered a hug, which I accepted, because after driving over 8 hours, I needed a hug!! My stay wasn't anything special, I could hear all activity outside my room, which I found irritating, because I needed sleep as I was traveling solo!! I left early in the morning as I was anxious to get home to my mother. When I had travelled approximately 3 hours, I remembered something I accidently left in the room I stayed in. I called as soon as I realized that I was missing this item. I called the hotel directly and told them about this item, that was very important to me. I told them the room number, my address, my phone number

Positive: Breakfast was excellent with reasonable quality and above-average options. Hotel is conveniently located for those traveling through area, but didn't hear traffic noise. Negative: Employee assisting with check-in was friendly, but seemed exceptionally stressed and wasn't professional when encountering technology issues at the front desk. I exhibited patience and the other guests checking-in seemed to also. Not sure why so stressed?
