Lannon Stone Motel

Bed clean, room clean. Very happy with the safety. When asking for help to secure my room or even toilet paper, was yelled at. Feel violated and bullied when asking for help from management. They have cleaned the place up with flowers and very good lighting at night. But they are so mean to their customers. I asked for my face plate to be secure, they accused me of busting down my own door. Wear and tear is a thing. and a drywall screw is not the fix all. He was so mad that he needed to secure my faceplate that he asked me to leave.

This is by far the worst place to stay in Janesville. The family that lives there and operates it is very rude, and they know nothing about hospitality. Something trivial like having your window cracked open (because there's no thermostat in your room and it's either freezing cold or very hot) instead of politely asking you to close it, they will drive by in their car, honk the horn and yell into your room saying you'll have to pay $50 for that. My experiences there only got worse. My bedding also smelt like body odor and smoke. Most of the rooms at the Lannon Stone are always vacant and I see why now.

We stay here for 9 months! And our room was beautiful ❤️, and clean .The service was great, never had any problems. The family that runs the place is very nice and genuine! This family works hard in the rooms always trying to make them better! I seen much when I stay here , and I can say it was the people who couldn't follow the rules that had problems, we had the kitchen with what we needed. I also see customers complaining about the price,I can say this was the cheapest and and best room we could find had enough room to move around. We found a place to live, So we moved out, like I said it was a clean place oh absolutely no bed bugs at all, I can even say this they are changing mattresses in the rooms, I see them do it. DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU HAVE ANY BREATHING PROBLEMS. I stayed there for almost a month. In that months time I was hospitalized and required breathing treatment twice. The day after I left I was able to breathe easier, it didn't help the lady next door smoked like a chimney in her room and the gentleman next door was selling drugs. Also the bed bug situation is horrendous. Also had iron deficient anemia from all the bedbug bites I received. The management is well aware of it and does nothing. If you are in the new kitchenettes they care but if in the old plain rooms they don't. Already reported to the county health department.

They don't have wifi 85 bucks for a two bed. Rude customer service. I was iffy about the price knowing they're low maintenance. He told me you can take it or go it doesn't matter. Can't control the temp in the rooms...floors are missing tiles and looks like mold is growing.Needs a paint job. Windows need to be propped open because it's too hot and don't stay up...pinched my fingers putting window down. Seems janky. TV is big and nice flat screen. Bedding is dirty looks like period stains.
