Redondo Beach Hotel, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

We stayed at this hotel as it was conveniently located between all the sites we wanted to see during our week long trip to the west coast. The rooms and commons spaces were immaculate. The staff was friendly and helpful when we had questions. The free bikes were so nice to have available to get to the various beaches, bars, restaurants and shopping as parking is at a premium in most areas. The onsite restaurant/bar filled our needs for breakfast, coffee and light bites. Urns of ice cold cucumber spa water were filled all day long and were great for quick hydration. The lobby had nice furniture and plenty of tables for group gatherings. The rooftop deck was great for relaxing and watching the sunset. Overall fantastic experience. Would definitely return.

We stayed at the Redondo Beach hotel for 7 nights, whilst attending a course held in the hotel. |The hotel is located across the road from the marina, and so our marina view room is a case of being able to see the top of the masts rather than the complete area. However, that said, it's an improvement of looking over the carpark at the rear with no real view at all. ||Nearby are several restaurants and bars, including The Cheese Factory and Bluewater Grill. About 1 mile away, so a 20 minute walk, is Hermosa Pier area, and there are also plenty of bars/restaurants to choose from. A Whole Foods is also about a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Positive: Rooms, scent, clean, Negative: Staff was not engaged. Often playing on phone, no smiles, closed body language. Almost annoyed at asking basic questions or requests like fixing toilet issue. Food was not good and way overpriced for microwaving a frozen burrito that was tasteless.

-It’s in a really good location, you can easily walk to the pier, bars, restaurants etc. -Rooms were super clean. Upstairs there’s a terrace with some good views but nothing was set up, the only spot to hang out inside the hotel would be the lobby or small bar area. -Staff was very attentive and friendly -There’s a Starbucks coffee shop at the bar during the morning, a special thanks to the barista the morning of Jan 18th, he was very nice and the latte he made was 10/10. And the breakfast burrito was very good honestly.

Really can’t beat the location, but definitely hasn’t been updated in 20 or so years. Wasn't dirty by any means, cleaning staff did a great job too. I think it’s just truly hard to feel super clean when it looks this dated, if that makes sense. Nice staff. The guy who helped me check in yesterday was extremely. So was the man at the front desk who helped me buy waters. Keep in mind: looks like the elevator inspection expired back in 2025.
