Red Roof PLUS+ & Suites Vicksburg

I love this Red Roof Inn the best out of several others in many different states and what makes this place a home away from home is the smiles and friendliness from jalinda who works front desk and Mya the manager who is always cleaning and will drop whatever to help a guest. Eric in house keeping is very attentive and takes pride in cleanliness and customer service.I write very few reviews good or bad but when staff is super exceptional all the time for months on end I have to. I stay at Red Roof on omne Dr Vicksburg more than any other because we do a lot of contract work for international paper, months out of the year. Their kindness, friendliness and helpfulness is what makes me not miss home as bad. If I had a hotel I would definitely want them on my team. A+ 5stars. Thank you so mu

My family stayed here one night. The facilities are obviously falling apart and not being maintained. Overwhelming smell of cannabis in the parking lot. Locks on exterior doors were broken so the staff had them propped open with a stick! Had to visit several rooms before being placed in a room. Breakfast was terrible. No plates or bowls and the waffle maker had no waffle mix. The hotel leaves much to desired. Very sketchy.

Positive: Proximity to work. Negative: Hotel was dirty. Guests put trash in hallways.

Alright so the lady at check in was fantastic! She explained everything and was super helpful after we saw the quality of the rooms and decided not to stay. So the workers get 5 stars but the actual building and the rooms less than 1 star.

Ok first off… I wanna say Latonya Owens the front desk lady on the 7a-3p shift is awesome. She went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied with our room and she is the absolute sweetest. Please don’t let the negative reviews detour you. The rooms are updated and renovations are continuing. The location is prime! It’s surrounded by all of the great restaurants and great shopping! Check em out you won’t be disappointed. Great price for the location.
